Privacy Policy — Health Habit

Effective date: 2026-08-17

Health Habit turns activity you already record into habit tracking. This policy explains what the app reads, what stays on your iPhone, and what leaves it.

Health data never leaves your iPhone

Health Habit reads workouts and activity data from Apple Health — the types you approve, and only the ones the habits you create need: workouts, step count, active energy, exercise time, distance, and heart rate during workouts.

That data is read only. The app never writes to Health, and it never transmits your health data anywhere. What it reads is summarised into habit progress and stored in a database on your device.

We cannot see your health data. It is not uploaded to a server, not backed up to any service we control, and not shared with anyone.

No account, no sign-in

The app has no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, or any other identifying detail.

What does leave the device

Three services are built into the app — two from Google (Firebase) and one for subscriptions:

None of them receives your health data.

The installation identifier is generated by the app, is not your Apple ID, and is reset if you delete and reinstall the app.

No tracking and no advertising

Health Habit does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, shows no advertising, and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with data brokers.

Purchases

If you buy a subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple provides only the status of the purchase.

Subscriptions are managed for us by RevenueCat, a service that records which subscription an installation bought and whether it is still active — that status is what unlocks the paid features. RevenueCat receives the same app-generated installation identifier described above, and no payment details: those stay between you and Apple.

Your control

Children

Health Habit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data we hold — for example under the LGPD in Brazil or the GDPR in the European Economic Area. Because the app has no accounts and holds no health data on any server, the only data associated with your installation is the diagnostic and usage data described above. Write to us at the address below to ask about it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the effective date above is updated and the change is described in the app’s release notes.
